Bachelor

I hate the TV show the bachelor. I think it is the stupidist show on TV. I tend to like reality television like the Biggest Loser, Teen Mom, America's Next Top Model...

Anyways, last night Brianna really wanted to watch the Bachelor because "Pops loves this show!"
So, I was watching it and moping, vaccumming, etc.....

But I got me thinking... if I was on the bachelor, how would I describe myself and would I be desireable to the "bachelor".

For the record (not that anyone reads my blog), I am very happy with my boyfriend, Rob and love him very much....so this is just theoretical.

This is how I would describe myself...

I am a single mother of a highly opinionated 7 year old (going on 15) who thinks she knows more than I do.
I have two crazy dogs that pee when you pet them.
I have two rats (yes, I like rats).
I have the sweetest cat in the world who's fecal matter smells worse than any C-diff patient I have had.
My mother is overbearing, and judgemental. My father (bless his heart) is an alcoholic.
My family is entirely too intertwined with each other's business and rarely does one day pass without some big ordeal going down.
I am obsessed with keeping my house clean.
I contantly balance my checking account.
I have certain routines and I like to stick to them.
I do not like it when plans change and I tend to become irate.
I work too much.
I have big dreams and I need lots of money for them to come true!!!
I only have one best girl friend because that's all I can handle.
I have very high expectations for people and they tend to let me down frequently.
I have the same expectations for myself and my daughter.
I am an overachevier.
I only know how to give everything or give nothing.

So, leave it or take it Bachelor boy... I think on paper, I sound pretty anal and I'm not sure if I would want me either :)
I asked Brianna what she thought and she said, "Mom, you are beautiful!! Of course you would get picked!"
Haha, I love her for that. She is so much like me it's scary.

That's all for now

I'm so stinkin' emotional right now that your post made me tear up, jeeze :)

You had a really good self-view! That would be REALLY hard to sit out and write and be really honest. You might want to leave out the bowel/urinary habits of your pets though, haha!!!! Though you are nothing if not honest, and I love you for it.

I'm not a bachelor fan either, but you would definately get the rose, because Bri is exactly right, you are beautiful :)

PS. Sorry our plans changed last Thursday, I hope I didn't make you irate.

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate. He tested on Monday morning and received word Tuesday around 5:30pm that he was pos...

Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine. He tried to do it with a tool and ended up having to do it manually with his hands.  Then, I ...
