Happy Late Valentine's Day!

So, my valentine's day was good...Friday night I went to billy bob's to see my boyfriend (Aaron Watson)! It was so fun even though we didn't have great seats. I got to meet the lead guitarest in the band (Jason). It was funny how it happened... we were sitting at a table and I was like, "hey, that's the lead guitarest"-I don't know how to spell that word. Anyways, so my friend went up to him and told him that I wanted to meet him (embarrassing) so he came over and talked to me for like 10 minutes. He was like 5'6" and he said, "Do you like short guys"? I was like, not really... lol, but it was still cool. I got a picture with him that I will post later. Bri and I went to see confessions of a shopaholic last night. It was pretty cute... I like girly movies like that. And, the book I'm reading right now, "Multiple blessings" is soooooo good! I read like 3/4 of the book at work on Sunday. Kind of boring, I was talking to someo...

Monday

My weekend was great. Yesterday, in church, I was ordained and installed as a Deacon. It was a pretty cool experience. I serve a three year term and I'm on the "missions" committee. Then, I came home and watched "Made of honor"... cute moive. Bri went to see the musical Cats with my Mom and I took a nap! Then, when she got home we cleaned the entire house! It was her first time ever to help me clean and she cleaned the bathrooms (minus the toilets) and she polished all the wood. I vacummed, mopped, etc. etc. It was quote an enventful evening. Then, I went to sleep and woke up about 4am and made up my mind that I was going to find a new job. I like to conjur up things in my head when I wake up, then when I finally get up... I always think about it more and then decide it's probably not the best way to approach something. I finished the Twilight series. And, I loved it! I was a little tearful at the end, not because of the ending, but because I was done and no...

Supermarket

I think people should call grocery stores, supermarkets again. That's what my grandparents used to call them. If you put that name with Walmart, you'd have to say "supermetropolis" because Walmart is not your ordinary grocery store. Anyways, I was at walmart the other night doing my monthly grocery shopping with Bri. And, taking a 6 year old to the grocery store can turn into a nightmare if you're not careful. So, there we were, piling things into the cart that we didn't really need but she just HAD to have. Then, she got mad at me and wouldn't tell me what she wanted for her school lunches. So, I just started putting whatever kind of lunchable I felt like into the cart. Then, she needed some new socks but woudn't tell me what color she wanted. So, I had to guess, knowing that if she didn't like the color, she wouldn't wear any of them. Then, she wanted to help me scan the food at the check out and I wanted to pack the bags in a particular way ...

Emergency Fund

I have been working on building my emergency fund for the past 9 months (since April 2008). And, today I finally finished!!!!!!!!! Yahoo and I finished the 3rd Twilight book and started the 4th last night. It feels so good to have finished my emergency fund goal. I thought it was going to take 2.5 years to build up my fund but I worked really hard to cut back on spending and was able to do it in 1/4 the time. Yay! It wasn't really that hard either. I just started noticing where I was spending excess money that wasn't necessary to live off of and cut back on that... like the nail salon, hair cuts, cokes, maid service, car washes, eating out.... so, I guess I basically made my life simpler and it wasn't too bad. Bri seems happier :) So, yay! Now, I'm training for a 5K in February (Cowtown) and working on my triathalon for March. That's all the exciting news I have right now. @---)----)----
