My new Cousin...

Here is a picture of my new cousin. I can't remember his name, he's my 5th cousin. He's cute though! I don't get to see them very much because they live in Maryland. I'm ready for Thanksgiving to come and go. I don't like holiday's too much, everything closes down :( Anyways, I am half way to my swim goal of 12 miles! Bri said the cutest thing the other night. We were driving home from swimming and she told me she was sad that someday she wouldn't be able to live with me. I told her that someday she wouldn't want to live with me and she said, Mom, I will never feel that way! Then, she asked me if we could be neighbors when she grows up... lol, I told her I would love that! That's all, I don't have anything exciting to say today. I'm ready for this day to be over so I can have tommorow off. Friday I am playing golf. My Dad finally got my golf clubs from my birthday present last year (7 days before my next bday). They are red and black gra...

I hate Mondays!

Bri is out of school this week, which means she is at the office with me :) AKA, I am unable to get any work done :) But, this Saturday was awesome... I got my new tree planted! I planted my tulips for the spring (they are yellow), I assembled my scroll saw, I mowed for the last time this winter!, AND.... well, that's it. But, it took my the whole day! Then, today, my neighbor was getting rid of her daughter's bunk bed and she gave it to Bri. SO, I didn't think it would be too difficult to get this bed over to my house, and it was free, so I couldn't pass up this deal. Anyways, it took us like two hours, I had to take off the door, took some chunks out of my wall.... but we got it up! It looks great and I'm going to surprise Bri with it tonight. Now, I just have to get her TV fixed so she will start sleeping in her bed and not in the guest room. Maybe that will be one of my Christmas presents to her. My birthday is in 7 days.... YEAH!!!

Catch up...

Here are some pictures from Blake's birthday. I still think my daughter was the cutest baby in the world, but this baby comes in close behind Bri! She's the cutest lil' lady bug! Here is her proud daddy opening presents with her. Here is a picture of Kaitlin and Bri watching Blake open 1,000 presents :) Don't they look excited! Here are some pictures from my Grandma's funeral which was yesterday. This is a collage I made that was set up on an easel. Below is the picture of her box before we put in her in the ground. Kind of creapy I know, I thought of taking a group photo of the people who attended but nobody seemed up for that. Her box was a little dusty so I wiped it off, then they put her in the ground next to my grandpa. My great Aunt and Uncle stayed with Bri and I the last two nights. I had never met them and they were so sweet! They have been married for 50 years and my grandma and grandpa actually introduced the two of them to each other. They are so cute to...

Triceratops

So.... it's been one week since I posted a blog. Probably because I was in Denver and had no computer access. That's not always a bad thing!! This week went by extremely fast! So, update on my tree... I found out this morning that I have a red oak in my front yard. I don't really like it but I guess there's not much I can do about that. My neighbor has a pear tree that he wants to dig up and replace so I offered to generously "take it off his hands" but he didn't feel it necessary to give me his tree. :( So, I'm going to have to break down and by one sooner or later. So, I have somehow been put in charge of planning my grandma's funeral. This made me think how nice it would be when you died, if you already had created a powerpoint presentation or something along that line, that had pictures from your life... baby to recent and you could update it each year... add song, then, when you die, they can just play it at your funeral. I saw that in the mov...

Friday Wrap-up

I can't believe it's Friday. This week flew by faster than a hummingbird. I finally got my solar screens put up! And, they look really good! Next on my list... get a dryer booster installed, plant a tree in the backyard, plant my tulips in December for the springtime, and get storm doors put in on the front and back door. I'll probably do the back door first. I think the dogs would like to be able to look in and I'd like to be able to look out. So, that's probably the next thing I will do. But, the screens look really nice and they have white gridwork on them, so it stands out and matches really well with my white stone front. My plan is to make the government pay ME money because I will have the most efficient home on the planet!!! Last night, Bri and I went over to see my neighbor because used to work with her at Children's Courtyard. Anyways, long story short, she has two children from a previous marraige who's dad pays her child support. Then, she has an...

Halloweennnnyyy~!

Here are some pictures from Halloween. Bri went as Miley Cyrus, I went as Miley's mom and her friend, Grace, went as Hannah Montana. They both started out sprinting from house to house, then about 20 minutes into it, they were walking, then, Brianna tripped over a step and skinned her knee, so I ended up holding her the last 45 minutes, along with walking the dogs and carrying the half ton bag of candy she got! I won't need to by candy ever again!!!!!!!!!! Introducing Miley Cyrus in all her glory! Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana (Grace) and Minnie, the princess, and Mr. Jack, the vampire. Me, Bri, Grace and Minnie and Jack Grace, Steven (Blaine's friend), Blaine (Grace's brother), and Bri, Minnie and Jack. Bri wouldn't get to close to Blaine becaues she has a secret crush on him (shhh, don't tell anyone). :) That's all for now @---)----)----
