Galveston Extravaganza

Here are some pictures from my trip to Galveston. I went to see my little brother and visit him at medical school! I attended a radiology lecture with him and then Friday night we went to the lab to see his cadaver! Not only did I get to see her, but I got to play with her too! It was amazing to see the human body. Her liver, spleen and intestines had already been removed but I was able to see her kidneys and the disection of her shoulder, forarm, fingers, skull. It was awesome. I thought I would be grossed out but at the end of it, I was covered in cadaver juice and loved every minute of it. I think it's awesome that the familys and patients donate their bodies to science for bettering the medical field. As you can see, I was unable to wear make up in Galveston because it's so humid! Here is Mark and I at IHOP before I left. We had two meals there (he really likes that place). Then, I wandered up to college station to visit my friend Amanda and attend the Aggie football game ...

Triathalon Pictures

Pre-race... This is my friend Heather that I met in the pool at Keller Pointe. She did awesome and this was her first race!! So proud of her and it was fun to have someone to compete with, even though I never saw her after the pool because she hauled a$$!! Post-race.. I don't have any action photos, obviously I was running the race. But, it rained the whole way down and pretty much throughout the whole race. However, it was nothing compared to the mud run. They cut our biking in half because the roads were flooding so I don't really feel that I completed the whole triathalon, but it was still an adventure and it was fun! My Mom, Dad, Bri, and Rob came out to watch and stand in the rain to support me! What a family :) I can't wait to do another race! That's all for now @---)---)----

Pumpkin Patch!!

Blake and i took a trip to the pumpkin patch in Lewisville, TX. Bri wasn't able to go with us because she had a slumber party to attend. However, Blake and I still had fun! Here are some pictures. Here was Blake crawling through the play blow up slides and stuff. It was all muddy but she wasn't deterred one bit! Blake riding a horse all by herself!!! She was mad at me because I wouldn't let her ride the horse again. Waiting to ride the swings! That's all for now @--)---)---
