Happy 14th birthday, Bri!

My little baby girl turned 14 yesterday.... Surreal is the best way to describe it. Just yesterday I remember putting her tooth under her pillow for the tooth fairy, gathering cookies for Santa, reminding her to put on deodorant, etc. Now, she spends an hour getting ready with straightening her hair, make up, perfume.... I still have trouble convincing her to shower but that goes with the territory. I'm so proud to be her Momma and I can't wait to see what she does with her life. She's my little firecracker and keeps my life interesting. She's always got something up her sleeve. Love you, baby girl! That's all for now @---)---)----

Thing's I've Learned...

I never thought becoming a mother of two would be easy but I knew it would be fun and challenging. Everyday provides something new and I never know what to expect. As an OCD women, I have to keep in perspective the things that are important and the things that can wait until later. Ok, nothing should wait until later but sometimes I don't have a choice. (cry face) Somethings I've learned as a mother/wife that I'm sure other people can relate to: Sometimes a vacation is showering with coconut flavored body wash and picturing yourself at the beach. Expensive diapers are nice but cheap ones accomplish the same thing. Huggies wipes provide the most traction.  Prunes work magic on infants.  My crock pot is one of my best friends. The vacuum and hair dryer can always soothe a crying infant.  I have learned to love coupon apps. It provides much excitement at the grocery store.  Raising a teenager is not a challenge, it's a battle. Okay, it's a downright ...
