I never thought becoming a mother of two would be easy but I knew it would be fun and challenging.

Everyday provides something new and I never know what to expect. As an OCD women, I have to keep in perspective the things that are important and the things that can wait until later. Ok, nothing should wait until later but sometimes I don't have a choice. (cry face)
Somethings I've learned as a mother/wife that I'm sure other people can relate to:
- Sometimes a vacation is showering with coconut flavored body wash and picturing yourself at the beach.
- Expensive diapers are nice but cheap ones accomplish the same thing.
- Huggies wipes provide the most traction.
- Prunes work magic on infants.
- My crock pot is one of my best friends.
- The vacuum and hair dryer can always soothe a crying infant.
- I have learned to love coupon apps. It provides much excitement at the grocery store.
- Raising a teenager is not a challenge, it's a battle. Okay, it's a downright brawl and let the strongest women win!
- Hearing other people praise your teenager is sometimes the only affirmation that you are doing something right.
- Laundry can be stress relieving.
- Nobody enjoys lists except me. But, I keep on making them in hopes that someday, someone will read it!
- Drink lots of water. No one will remind you to do this during the day. In fact, no one probably cares.
- If the baby's diaper needs to be changed but she's sleeping, let it sit.
At the end of the day, if these three people are happy and sleeping soundly, life is good. Sometimes, that's all you can work towards!
