50's day at school

This was Bri's make shift outfit from 50's at school. She told me 10 minutes before we had to leave. The girl with her is our neighbor. She likes to walk to school with Bri. I think she's in 2nd or 3rd grade. They are BFF's. :)

Field Day

Bri had a field day at school. She was picked, along with 10 other kids, to help pass the torch at the opening ceremony! Big deal! Here are some pictures. She had so much fun. That's all for now @---)---)---

And, they just keep coming...

I got some more pictures from Memorial Day that I had to post! I photoedited this picture and it made our skin look orange. But, it was crazy bright outside anyways. This is the coolest picture I have ever seen. I am on the right. Look at my face. I was laughing so hard my Abdominal muscles hurt. Last thing I have to ask about it, Jon and Kate Plus 8. I loved the book she wrote called Multiple Blessings. When I read it I really thought, this woman has a good head on her shoulders (it's never good to have a bad head). Anyways, the stuff that has been circulating around about their affair, etc.... I'm so over it. I don't even care to watch it anymore. The series premeir hardly had their kids in it at all, which is mostly why I watch it. That woman has everything she could every possibly want... a beautiful house, health children (8 of them), 2 dogs, no job, probably college paid for for all those kids... down payments, weddings, funerals... come on. And, she has the never...

Slumber Party

Bri's friend, Wynnie spent the night on Sunday night (since Monday was a holiday). They had so much fun eating this big sugar iced cookies... Bri was bouncing off the walls and Wynnie didn't go to sleep until after midnight.

Reunion!

We had a reunion dinner with our friend Shala, and her new fiance, Matthew. It was so good to see them and get together with everyone. Here are some pictures from our night.. Me and Rob sitting by the poison oak. Shala, Sarah and Me... I love these girls! Blake and I swinging.... I look a little too big to be on that swing but Blake enjoyed it :)

Tuesday

It's only Tuesday and it feels like it should be Friday! I'm procrastinating working. So, update on the colon cleansing program. I've been doing it for 2 weeks on Friday. I have 2 more weeks after that. I was feeling great, lots more energy, etc... until the robbery and that kind of wiped out all my energy. Last night, I mowed the grass and my lawn looks awesome! I thought, " This is inviting for the robbers, atleast they'll have something nice to look at as their running out of my house with my stuff." I'm a little bitter about the whole situation, if you can't tell. I talked to the detective yesterday and he said there is nothing we can do except wait to see if my TV gets pawned. Then, they'll link it to the serial number and the drivers license of the person who sells it. Whatever, I doubt I'll ever see it again. It just stinks because now I'm scared to be in my house. I thought about getting a big pit bull, or rott weiler but I don'...

Square Dancing Fun...

Rob and I went to see his grandparents, in all their glory, square dancing on Friday night. They are too cute and I hope that I can be like that when I'm their age. You should see these old people dancing, they get all dressed up in these frillly dresses and they look they are having so much fun! They were all so friendly and excited to see people who didn't wear depends :) (JK) We had a good weekend though. Nobody broke in :) I got my CDL license on Saturday, installed dead bolts on both doors and just ordered some motion lights for the front of my house. Update on Bri's expander (in case anyone is interested), I turned it last night for the first night. We have to turn it for 21 days and then she goes back in to get her head gear (bless her heart!). However, the turning was successful and she said it didn't even hurt. That's all for now @---)----)----

Funny feeling...

So, lately, I've had a funny feeling that something bad was going to happen. I kept checking my tires because I was expecting a flat, or for them to all be bald and me need to buy a set of four new tires! 1.5 weeks went buy and I thought, ok, I'm in the clear, maybe this funny feeling was just indigestion. :) Boy was I wrong. Last night my house got broken into, while I was in it and Bri was in her room, asleep. The culprit's stole my 42" plasma TV (my pride and joy!) and my nintendo wii, 3 remote controls, and the charging dock. To make a long, crappy story short, they got away with those items, 4 empty wine bottles (wtf) and I didn't have any evidence against them. So, what are you going to do. This morning, I went back home and was praying that when I walked into my house and looked to the left, my TV would be back in it's respective spot and my wii sitting next to it, peacefully... still empty. No such luck. Anyways, the bright side is nothing else was stol...

New Mouth!

Here are some pictures of Bri as she starts her venture into the wonderful world of metal. The expander didn't hurt at all and she was pretty nervous about it. She said she wasn't going to talk at school because she has too much saliva in her mouth. However, she hasn't stopped talking since she got it on, so I think she'll be okay :)

Muffins with Mom!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's Bri and I from "Muffins with Mom" day at school. They ran out of muffins :( 2nd muffin's with Mom day picture. Here's Bri with lil' Blake. Don't think she was too happy about the hug but she is so cute! Lil' bunny foo-foo :) Here's my friend and his newly decorated baby room, anticipating the arrival of his first baby, Jett. (Hence the jets on the wall) Bri gets her expander and headgear today. For all of you faithful followers of my blog (Sarah) I made enough money to pay for the braces in 3 weeks!!!!! Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I worked an insane amount of hours to do it, with a crazy schedule, but I feel so good that I got it done. Just shows that if you put your mind towards something, it can be done. My moto during that 3 weeks was "Pay for the braces, or die". TG I didn't die! Lately I've been noticing people's teeth more and I'm really glad I am taking care of Bri's teeth early because it makes a huge differenc...

My crazy weekend in a nutshell (or mason jar)

Crazy weekend but I have a couple of funny stories. Friday night I worked from 3p to 11pm (Got home about midnight). I decided before I went to sleep that I was going to sleep until noon the next day... you know, catch up on all my sleep for the weekend. I didnt' have to be back at the hospital until 3pm, so I was golden. However, Saturday morning came around and I woke up at 7am! On a regular day I have a hard time waking up to a blaring alarm clock and yapping 7 year old, and the only night that I am completely alone, no noise, no people, no alarm clock, no tv... I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed. Anyways, so I got up and went to sprouts because I decided I was going to culture my own vegetables. So, I bought the cabbage, Kale (seaweed) carrots, celtic sea salt and went home to start my culturing. I was planning on taking a nap before work...however... I started into my culturing which means chopping up the vegetables, putting them in a jar and letting them sit out for 3-7 d...
