So, lately, I've had a funny feeling that something bad was going to happen. I kept checking my tires because I was expecting a flat, or for them to all be bald and me need to buy a set of four new tires!
1.5 weeks went buy and I thought, ok, I'm in the clear, maybe this funny feeling was just indigestion. :)
Boy was I wrong.
Last night my house got broken into, while I was in it and Bri was in her room, asleep.
The culprit's stole my 42" plasma TV (my pride and joy!) and my nintendo wii, 3 remote controls, and the charging dock.
To make a long, crappy story short, they got away with those items, 4 empty wine bottles (wtf) and I didn't have any evidence against them.
So, what are you going to do.
This morning, I went back home and was praying that when I walked into my house and looked to the left, my TV would be back in it's respective spot and my wii sitting next to it, peacefully... still empty. No such luck.
Anyways, the bright side is nothing else was stolen (because nothing else I have is very valuable) and Bri was still sleeping peacefully, snoring away in her bed. She has no idea that any of this happened.
She asked me where the TV went and I told her it was taken in for repairs (at midnight, lol). For some odd reason, my otherwise intuitive daughter, bought that story.
So, I'm getting dead bolts put in on both doors, motion detector garage lights, my cancealed handgun license tommorow, and I will be packing heat in my house from now on.
So, if anyone plans on robbing me again, it will be over my dead body.
