Friday!!!!!!

I'm so glad it's Friday!!!!! And, I'm so glad I'm off tommorow :) This week started off crappy but it ended on a better note... I'm a little concerned about the election but I'm not going to worry about it. Brianna was chanting, "John McCain! John McCain" in the car and I keep thinking about that and laughing. Yesterday, when she came home from school she had an I voted sticker on her shirt and I asked her who she voted for... she said, "John McCain". So, I asked her why she voted for John McCain and she said, "Because Barack Obama is going to kill our country." I asked her who she heard that from and she said, "Grammie". That sounds like something my Mom would say! Anyways, my week in summary started out awful because I was extremely tired and when I'm tired every little thing bothers me! But, I finally caught up on some sleep and I feel much better, though I could stand a little nap right about now. Sometimes, I miss...

Halloween Fun

Here is Minnie's Halloween costume. She didn't like it, so she hid in her cage! She's a princess. Here is Jack's halloween costume. He is a vampire but he looks like a bat in this picture! Below are pictures from Grandparent's Day at school... Grammie and Bri at Grandparent's breakfast. Pop's and Bri at the Watchdog pizza night. That's all for now @---)----)----

Wacky Wednesday

Actually, my Wednesday hasn't been too wacky. I remember this book I read when I was little called "Wacky Wednesday" so I felt like saying that. Anyways, this morning I was reading from this little book that has inspirations for the day. (I can't remember the name) but... this one day was about how God doesn't allow us to see our future because we couldn't handle knowing that information and we would just worry too much if we knew. I went to a palm reader one time, and the only thing she told me was that I hadn't met my soulmate yet ( I was 16). She told my Mom some stuff that came true later so my Mom is a firm believer in palm reader's now, but I don't think I want to know my future. I like to just take one day at at time because then things don't seem as overwhelming and, how true, if I had known what my future held at 16, I would've freaked out!!!! Last night, Bri was upset (as she often gets when she's overly tired) and she said sh...

I hate Mondays!!!!!

Friday night I went to see Highschool musical with Bri. It was a great movie, the best of the high school trilogy by far! Definately made for the big screen. It was about the high school musical cast's senior year. So, it reminded me of when I was in highschool and everyone says, "You have the power to become whatever you want to become... ... Then, you start to think... I want to change the world... I will be 26 in one month and I have realized that when someone tells you that you can be anything you want to be, it is not necessarily true. I do agree that people create their own destiny and are forced to turn any situation into a good one BUT my life turned out nothing like I imagined it. Last night, Bri said she wished that her whole family lived together in the same house and then she started crying. I told her I was sorry she felt that way and that I understood because I used to want to live with ANYBODY else besides my family. When I was in highschool I researched college...

Pumpkin Carving Fun!!!

Our pumpkin carving didn't turn out as good as I would've liked but Bri had fun playing in the smut! I carved and she made pumpkin soup on the driveway. Then, I had to clean it up while she took a shower (the joys of motherhood). Tommorow night is her parent-teacher conference and we are giving her teacher her Christmas presents :) She's so excited. She picked them out and paid for them herself. One is a little Christmas ornament that says, "My favorite teacher", the other is a gingerbread button that has a recipe for making "Christmas Joy" and the third is a yellow fluffy towel thing for her baby girl that is due in November (the teacher's, not Bri's). So, hopefully she will like it. We are taking it early because her teacher will not be there over Christmas break (maternity leave). Anyways, it's only Wednesday (hump day), and I'm already ready for FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It can't come fast enough. I still ne...

Girls Trip Wrap up

Here is a summary of our trip... We started out around 1pm and Bri slept for the first hour and a half. So, I listened to cd's, and enjoyed me quiet time. Then, she woke up in Waco so we stopped at Starbucks and got a carmel cream frappacino and then she HAD to have a reduced fat carmel cake so we split that. Then, we took off again and drove to Saledo, TX. We stopped at a B&B and it was apparantley vacant but we found two cute cats. One scratched Bri in the face. Then, we drove to another B&B and Bri had to go to the bathroom but the chinese lady wouldn't let us use her restroom so I told Bri to just pee outside. So, she wouldn't do it unless I did. So, we found a place that was secluded and I peed on a rock. Then, she pulled her pants all the way off and squated and this truck drove around so I screamed and jumped in front of her and she put her pants back on. Then, she wouldn't pee on the rock. Here are some pics from that B&B... After the B&B's ...

Thursday Turtles

Today was a great day! As of Monday, I had to spend $6,000.00 dollars on my teeth, I needed 2 root canals, etc.... Then, today, I went in and only need about $830.00 worth of work, a possible crown in the future, but not right now. I had an oral cancer screening and passed with flying colors!!!!!! Then, I tried to sell the shingle man some ladders and he blew me off but I really didn't care after saving 5,000.00 on my teeth! I can't believe that place wanted to rip me off like that. What do I look like, a whimpy push over woman??!!? I don't think so. I almost got the root canal too. I would've been so mad had I gotten that work done and then found out later that I didn't need it!!!!!!!!!! I almost want to go up there and tell them how they tried to rip me off was so wrong and they are crooks but I took 2 rolls of toilet paper from there bathroom, so I don't feel the need to get back at them. It was nice toilet paper too! Very soft. You can always tell how much m...

Fun day at the rip-off dentist

Well today was a big day in the day in my life. I almost spent 6 grand on my teeth today which will eventually fall out one day, so I'm not sure why I worry about it anyways. However, I don't want to look like a snagle tooth possumm. So, I paid one dollar for them to look at my teeth and I took 2 rolls of toilet paper from their bathroom. Extremely soft, might I add; I think I got my dollars worth!!! Anyways, I'm going to post some pictures now of my lovely life... Enjoy:) This was me and my friend Shali at Parkland. This was my friend Rebecca and I at her sister's wedding this past summer, or spring. I can't remember when. I was drunk and high in this picture (Jk) Cutest baby in the world! In philadelphia, next to my grandma's tree that we planted when she died. (Bri was like 2 and a half) That's all for now. Gone....
