I'm so glad it's Friday!!!!! And, I'm so glad I'm off tommorow :)
This week started off crappy but it ended on a better note...
I'm a little concerned about the election but I'm not going to worry about it.
Brianna was chanting, "John McCain! John McCain" in the car and I keep thinking about that and laughing.
Yesterday, when she came home from school she had an I voted sticker on her shirt and I asked her who she voted for... she said, "John McCain".
So, I asked her why she voted for John McCain and she said, "Because Barack Obama is going to kill our country." I asked her who she heard that from and she said, "Grammie". That sounds like something my Mom would say!
Anyways, my week in summary started out awful because I was extremely tired and when I'm tired every little thing bothers me! But, I finally caught up on some sleep and I feel much better, though I could stand a little nap right about now.
Sometimes, I miss working nights because I loved to come home when Bri was at school and take a nap!!!!!!!!
My week in summary...
-I addressed all my Christmas cards
-I debated mowing for the last time this year (YAHOO!!!!!) but I'm putting it off until tommorow.
-And, I bought tulips that I'm going to plant in 30 days. They are yellow tulips. I never planted them before but I thought they would be pretty for the spring... if I plant them correctly.
Also, I have to look into geting a new tree for the backyard. I'm going to plant it this November.
I have to do a little research.
-I'm completly done with Christmas shopping (minus Bri)
-I ran 4 miles!
-I colored my hair darker!
-Brianna was able to read the candy she got at trunk or treat last night, all by herself... it's funny to sound out that word... "butterfinger".
Cool thing that happened this week... I was praying that God would put influential people in Bri's life that she could look up to and have good role models because I know she gets upset that her Dad doesn't live close to her.
So, Wednesday night she went to bible study and she loves Mrs. Krista, her teacher. THEN, thrusday she got a card in the mail from a couple at my church who don't have any children and they adore Bri. They sent her two dollars and a halloween card, "just because". I thought that was so cool!!! And, God does answer prayers! I read something this week that said when you pray, be clear about what you want. Tell God exactly what you want, then tell him if it is his will for this to become true, or clear, or go away, etc, allow it to. By just admitting that you aren't in control of your life, your child's life, etc.... is a huge relief! But, you have to keep praying about it or you start to forget that fact and you think you can control it by yourself. And, that's not true. I'm still working on it but I definately feel better.
