Never part and braid your hair if you are going out on a boat for a couple of hours. You will get a terribly painful sunburn on your scalp and then one week later it will peel like snake skin and look like you have a very bad case of dandruff. That's all for now @---)---)---

Bri is overly scared of fires since the PK fire incident that almost burned down my parents lake house. However, she has taken it to the extreme with being fearful of any weather related catastrophe. We were driving in the car last night and she said, "I think we are going to have a tornado". I was like, "I don't think so." However, I am a nurse and you always have to be careful of saying absolutes to patients or family members because they will throw it back in your face eventually. So, I thought and explained to her, "Yes, there is a possibility that we could have a tornado or fire but the liklienss of that happening is very slim. " Bri..., "So, we could have fire or tornado? Do you think we'll have one tonight?" Me... " Probably not, but there is always that chance. I mean, that tree could implode in front of us right now, but it probably won't." Bri... " What would you do if we had a fire in the house? Me.....

I found this CD the other night that Brianna's Dad had sent home with her from New York. Some of the pictures are really good and I'm going to scrapbook them for her this summer. However, I wanted to share a few of my favorite... She went to visit him in Washington and they stayed in NY a few nights. She said she had an "ok" time but I think the experience was so awesome for her!! She's one lucky girl! That's all for now @---)---)----

Here are some pictures from Bri's 1 mile fun run at school! She did awesome and came in 2nd place! The girl who beat her won by an entire minute! Bri ran the mile in 7 min and 56 seconds. I was very proud of her! That's all for now @---)---)---
