Christmas Greetings!

We went over to my friend Sarah's house to exchange Christmas gifts and spend time with our friends. Here are some photo's from the night....
Cousinly love!!

Me and my best friend, Sarah!

Lexi talking on her dominoe phone and Bri with the lavender smelling teddy!!!

My parents are in Jamaica right now for a weeks vacation! It is so nice that my phone doesn't ring off the hook because they don't have cell phone reception!!! Is that terrible? Probably, but I don't mind saying it.

Bri and I have been watching John and Kate Season 1. I've decided I'm going to watch the 4 seasons and figure out what caused the demise of their relationship.

If anybody used to watch the show, it's hilarious to see how Kate talks to John. However, I think if I had 8 kids to worry about, I would feel the same way she does.

Last night, I was laying down with Bri and thought how easy I have it with one child. But, there are times that I feel overwhelmed with laundry, working, school, homework, etc....

I think that is normal for a Mother to feel like that though. I know in the end, it's worth it but there are those days where the end seems so far away!

Bri is such a good kid but I do know that I don't think I could handle another girl that is as stubborn as her. She is too much like me and we butt heads constantly. But, I love her, nonetheless.

Like this morning, she told me she wanted to dress up as a doctor because it was occupational day at school. I was like, ok, you are telling me 10 minutes before we leave that you are suppose to dress like a doctor? And, I offered her to wear my stethoscope, scrubs or OR booties to school and she was like, No, that's not going to work.

So, I said, well then looks like you are up a creek, honey. Then, she got mad at me. And started rummeging (sp?) through my closet where her Santa gifts are hidden... so I run into the closest, yell at her to get out and then her feelings were hurt. However, I think this is probably the last year she will believe in Santa and I didn't want to ruin it because she saw her razor scooter in my closet. So, I think I was being reasonable, right??

Anyways, Rob and I got a new cat for the office since my parents cat died. She was 16. It was time for her to go anyways :)

His name is Atwood Seth Kennedy (after OC) and I gave him Rob's last name because he is psycho. We got him for free, he was a stray cat and Rob had to drive all the way to Lancaster, TX... which I thought was off Lancaster in Fort Worth but anyways....

He is a cool cat. I will post a picture of him. He is sitting in my lap right now. But, occasionally he turns into a pyscho and goes bizurk. Especially when Rob puts a laser light on the wall and the cat starts plowing into the walls to retrieve the laser.

Oh well, can't wait to see what my parents say when they come home from Jamaica and there is a cat in the office. Atleast we didn't have to pay for him :).

That's all for now my fellow blog followers....

Thank you for your faithfullness to my blog. I only hope that one day I become famous for my blog. If not, I will enjoy reading it.

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate. He tested on Monday morning and received word Tuesday around 5:30pm that he was pos...

Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine. He tried to do it with a tool and ended up having to do it manually with his hands.  Then, I ...
