Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19.
With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world.

My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall.
He has been in real estate for the past seven years.
He is an amazing realtor and even better manager.
I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what.

Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat.

He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate.

He tested on Monday morning and received word Tuesday around 5:30pm that he was positive for Covid-19.
He has been at home quarantined since then, except for going out to get tested.

He started to feel better after 3 days when the fever stopped. He took tylenol every 4 hours during the day and NyQuil at night. He felt a little bit of nasal congestion and we tried allegra but it did not do anything.
He also drank Pedialyte and Emergen-C for vitamin supplementation.
After 9 days I told him he needed to get out of bed. Since then, he has had more energy and last night we went out our first family walk.
Without Rob's permission, i purchased an English Bulldog during this time because our family needed something to be excited about.
My oldest daughter and I were tested and were negative.
I will not test my youngest children as I think the test is too painful.
This pandemic has taught me many things but mostly that I have very few true friends.
I am thankful for those who reached out to Rob during his illness.
His Judge Fite family has been nothing but supportive this entire process.
Thank you too those who prayed for Rob. He is getting better every day and next Monday will re-test to see if he can re-enter the universe.
We will both wear a mask in public until there is a vaccine.
Love to everyone who has to experience this virus.
I pray for a vaccine sooner than later and if anyone has to experience what we went through, please feel free to reach out to me for support.
I am a registered nurse and am always happy to help in anyway I can!
That's all for now

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine. He tried to do it with a tool and ended up having to do it manually with his hands.  Then, I ...
