Wonderful Weekend Wrap-up

I had a wonderful weekend.
Friday night Bri and I watched a movie and I painted my nails.
Saturday morning this man woke us up at 7:30am to give me a quote on a kwik kerb for my garden. I think I'm going to get it. It looks awesome and would make mowing much easier.

Then, Bri had a cheerleading clinic from 9 to 12 so I went to Lowes and got quotes on a new storm door for the back door.
For the fun of it, I also got a quote on a new door for the front that looks like it would be on a castle. It's about 2,000.00. So, I don't think I need a new door that badly but who knows.

Then, Bri and I went to ride 4 wheelers in some po-dunk town West of Fort Worth.
She had so much fun and she told my Mom about it. Then she told my Mom that we weren't wearing helmets. So, this morning before school she was like, "Mom, I have to tell you something. Grammie and Pops weren't happy that we didn't wear helmets on Saturday."
So, I told her that we should worn helmets but since she was sitting on the front, I didn't feel it was necessary. However, I told her if she ever gets on any 4 wheeler or motorcycle by herself without me, that she MUST wear a helmet or she's going to wish she had one on when I got done with her :) She laughed, but I think she got the point.

Sunday, I worked 7 to 3pm. I had a patient who was a physician's assistant in the marine corp. So, he criticqed my IV starting skills. However, I started the IV on him and forgot a flush. So, I had to stand there with him for five minutes waiting for a flush. Then, the IV blew. To make a long story short, it took me four sticks to get him. Then, he goes, I'd give you a B. I was like, look buddy, unless you want me to start and EJ next time, don't give me any crap :). He laughed.

Then, I was canceled at 3pm so I went to Braums! I love that place. Then, I went home and took a nap.
After I woke up, I put up my new shelf from Lowes. I'm not sure how long it will stay up but it's up for now.
Then, Minnie pooped on the carpet. I think she's sick because it smelled so bad, I wanted to throw up.
Then, Bri went to lay down around 9p and I was laying in her bed and I kept smelling that poop. I thought it was stuck in my nose hairs or something. So, I changed my clothes, washed my hands 30 times and laid back down with Bri. I couldn't get that stench out of my nose.
So, I looked under the bed and found the evidence.
Minnie had scooted her diarrhea laden butt on the carpet in the middle of underneath the bed on the carpet in 4 spots. Try cleaning that with lysol and carpet cleaner. It smelled so bad I had to take breathing breaks while trying to clean it up.

This is cool too. I emailed my manager from work the 25 things to do for 2009 and she published it in her church bulletin!
Here is her email...

Jodi,

Just wanted to tell you how much I loved the email you sent about the 25 tips for a better life in 2009. Gale typed it up for me & I made copies to give to everyone on the Rewards & Recognition Committee here @ work. We are always sharing positive thoughts. Then, last Sunday in church, it appeared in our church bulletin! I wasn't the only person who enjoyed it!

Have a wonderful day!

Robin :)

Hopefully, some other people will enjoy it.

That's all for now @---)----)----

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate. He tested on Monday morning and received word Tuesday around 5:30pm that he was pos...

Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine. He tried to do it with a tool and ended up having to do it manually with his hands.  Then, I ...
