28 Weeks Pregnancy Update

28 weeks today. Official third trimester in ALL BOOKS!!

Weight Gain: 33.3 lbs still. Didn't gain any weight this week! Not sure why. I stopped buying ice-cream from sonic and dairy queen everyday, more to save money than anything but maybe that's helped!

Exercise: Walked 21.4 miles last week. Pretty decent but I tried to not do more than 4 at a time because I get so tired.

Cravings/Diet: Still eating egg and tuna salad but not as much. I really don't have any food cravings but I get so thirsty at night! All I want is a gallon of lemonade from Chick Fil A but then I would be running to the bathroom all night. I try not to drink too much after dinner time.

Morning Sickness: I haven't had morning sickness but I night my heart burn gets so bad that I feel I could throw up. Sometimes during the day I have waves of feeling blah and tired but not necessarily nauseous.

Sleep: Been napping better and sleeping pretty good at night. Once I get comfortable I'm pretty good for the night. A couple of nights I've had to take Tums before bed to kill the heartburn but it doesn't seem to come back or wake me up at all after I go to sleep.

Concerns: None really just trying to keep trudging along. I don't get back for a check up until 31-32 weeks.

Shopping: Haven't purchased anything else for the baby. I did find this cool swing called Babymoov Swoon Motion. I think I may add it to my registry but I have a perfectly good swing that plugs into the wall so I will probably just end up using that one.

Side note: My youngest daughter turned 18 months this past week. She's getting more words and is so funny. She loves to say "no" to our cats. I think she's heard me say it a time or two.
We also celebrated Easter with our families. It was so much fun but so tiring!
We did a total of 4 easter eggs hunt in one day. 6:30 am, 11:00 am, 3:00pm and 5:00 pm. I was exhausted!! We were able to see most of our family in one day which is rare because we all live kind of far apart. I ate way too much and we got so much candy! Definitely blessed to have so much family around.
That's all for now

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate. He tested on Monday morning and received word Tuesday around 5:30pm that he was pos...

Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine. He tried to do it with a tool and ended up having to do it manually with his hands.  Then, I ...
