Everyone loves bluebonnets....

So, we had to do the stereotypical bluebonnet shots this year.
I took sister and her friend to sit with Jamyson in the bluebonnets on the side of the road near our house. It was a very small strip of bluebonnets so Bri carefully took the pictures to make the field look bigger.

Jamyson is just being able to sit up on her own so some of the pictures she is kind of leaning over a bit.

Four days after her first tooth came her second tooth right next to it!
I figured it would be about another month before she got anymore!

She is almost able to sit up on her own and hasn't quite figured out how to get up on all 4's but I know it's close! She currently eats one solid meal a day (usually breakfast). She enjoys most foods except for carrots. I don't think she likes the texture.
She loves spinach, peas and pears! She also likes bananas and applesauce. I have to hide her cereal into the fruit or veggie because she doesn't like it alone. Otherwise, she is sustained on breastmilk and formula. We go for her 6 month check up in about a week so she will have to get another round of immunizations :(.
She is sleeping pretty much all night, normally from 9pm to 7am in her crib. We bought her a little nightlight because Rob thought she was scared of the dark. That seems to be helping her.

Sister is currently the track manager for 8th grade and that is keeping her busy.
She is attending a bible study on Tuesday nights, youth group on Wednesday nights, track meets on the weekend, birthday parties, movies, etc.... that girl keeps us so busy!
Next week she is going on the 8th grade trip to Washington DC! They leave out at 5 in the morning to fly to DC and will spend a couple of days there and then fly home. I believe they actually get to tour the white house!

Rob recently purchased a new tractor to help mow our 4 acres. If I only knew how to run the thing, I might actually jump on it and mow!
Rob is very busy with his real estate career. He just received listing agent of the month! He works so hard at what he does and I'm so proud of him!

That's all for now

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate. He tested on Monday morning and received word Tuesday around 5:30pm that he was pos...

Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine. He tried to do it with a tool and ended up having to do it manually with his hands.  Then, I ...
