Bri came home to her "momma" yesterday morning at 9 am. She gave me a big hug and had a big smile on her face. I was happy to see her too!
Last night we went to the pool with her friend, Madi, then the girls had a sleepover and played with their American Girl dolls (they both have 4 each)...spoiled much?
Anyways, we didn't talk much about her trip but I think she was happy to be home.
Her grandmother had given her a journal to write in to tell us what she was doing since it's difficult to talk on the phone when she's with her otherside of the family.
I had fun reading through it. She called it, "Stinky's J"... short for "Stinky's Journal". Stinky is the nickname my brother and I gave her because when she was a baby she had massive blowouts in her diaper at the most awkward times... ie. church.
She ruined multiple outfits.
I still call her Stinky and she's 8. Sometimes when she's upset she'll tell me, "Don't call me Stinky anymore, Mom. Then she'll come back and say, "I'm sorry, you can still call me Stinky".
Haha, I will yell it at her highschool graduation!
Anyways, I'm glad to have her home. This month flew by! My surgery went well. It was 3 weeks ago today. I am healing nicely and am finally released to swim, bike, exercise again. Yay!
I went for my first swim today. It felt nice.
All I've been able to do lately is walk the dogs.... so I'm excited to get back into exercising.
That's all for now
