Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!

8 years ago I became a Mother, not willingly or desperately trying, actually rather wishing I didn't, at the time.

I've raised my little girl with the help of my parents and she is turning into a beautiful young lady.

She's stubborn, a neat freak, exceptionally smart... alot like her mama! :) jk

There are times that I go home after working all day to pay for the house we live in, the bills that accumulate, the extra clothes/purse that she just has to have, and I don't feel like being a Mom. I would rather lay on the couch, watch "Cougartown" and just chill out.
I don't want to mow the lawn, I don't want to feed the dogs, I don't want to worry about when my check is going to deposit to make sure our house is not foreclosed on.
I don't want to do the extra 3 baskets of laundry because my daughter has to change her outfit three times a day.
I don't want to go to the grocery store because I could live off a jar of peanut butter.
I don't want to drive her over to her friends house because I'm too tired.
I don't want to read to her at night because I'm too lazy.

And, after all these "don't want too's".....

I want to be the best Mother to Bri because she loves me unconditionally.
She can't leave the house in the morning if she's mad at me, she always comes back to give me a hug and apologize.
She can't go to bed at night if she's upset, and always comes out of her room and says, "Mom, we need to talk".
She's my purpose in life. She keeps me on track.
Sometimes, she questions things I do and I have to give her an explanation or she won't stop pestering me.
She's not perfect, by any means, and neither am I.
She gave me a goal, 8 years ago, to create/build the best life I could for us.
At the end of the day, her best interest is on my mind.

Last night, we went "pantie" shopping. They had some skimpy little panties for young girls and we were looking at them. In the end, she picked out the ones with little monkeys and icecream cones on them. She said, panties aren't suppose to look like that Mom! (pointing to the skimpy ones)
I said, that's right honey!
And, I knew I had done something right :)

I love Bri and I'm thankful to be a Mother, even if I wasn't ready at 19.

That's all for now

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

I hate Mondays!!!!!

Friday night I went to see Highschool musical with Bri. It was a great movie, the best of the high school trilogy by far! Definately made for the big screen. It was about the high school musical cast's senior year. So, it reminded me of when I was in highschool and everyone says, "You have the power to become whatever you want to become... ... Then, you start to think... I want to change the world... I will be 26 in one month and I have realized that when someone tells you that you can be anything you want to be, it is not necessarily true. I do agree that people create their own destiny and are forced to turn any situation into a good one BUT my life turned out nothing like I imagined it. Last night, Bri said she wished that her whole family lived together in the same house and then she started crying. I told her I was sorry she felt that way and that I understood because I used to want to live with ANYBODY else besides my family. When I was in highschool I researched college...
