Shower cap and politics....

So, it turns out that Bri doens't have chicken pox. She has impetigo either caused by a bacteria or fungal infection like ring worm. I have to treat her for both for the next two weeks.

Poor thing, she can't walk normal because it hurts when her legs rub together :( But, she's a trooper. We took the dogs for a walk last night and she went the whole way, waddling back and forth.

She just discovered shower caps in the past couple of days. I asked her why she didn't like showering everyday (hence, probably how she developed impetigo in the first place) and she said she didn't like washing her hair. So, I said (lightbulb) let's use a shower cap and then you don't have to wash your hair everynight (because I don't do that either but I'm tall enough that the water doesn't reach my hair.

Last Friday, I went to a wedding for a girl on my vball team. Here is a picture of me and one of my oldest friends (from middle school)

Next matter of business, my friend Sarah had her baby! And, she is beautiful and looks just like her big sister! I don't want to post pictures until Sarah gets too first, but everyone is happy and healthy and I'm so thankful. Sarah did great and the baby is b.e.a.u.t.f.u.l.!!!!

Last but not least, what is up with the economy? I know that democrats and republicans go back and forth on what is right and what is wrong.

But, how wierd is it that that when we have a democtratic president the economy does better, then when the republicans are back in office, the economy plummets.

Just a thought...

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain: 33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise: I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet: I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine.
