This morning I had to wake up to come to work at the hospital.
Bri stayed with my Mom last night, so I was all alone with Mr. Kennedy (my cat).
We first fell asleep on the couch, then around midnight, moved to my bed.
I put a heating pad underneath my back to keep me warm at night... that way I don't have to turn the heater on in my house (am I smart or what?! or just crazy :))
Anyways, my alarm went off at 4:45am and I did my normal routine of hitting the snooze, yelling inside my head at myself as to why I didn't call in sick (I haven't called in sick in 4 years-but I still tell myself that before every shift)... then I fell back asleep and woke up to a purring cat on my face. He was trying to get to my heating pad underneath my back and the closest he could get was to sit on my face... so I moved him down to the heating pad and he was in love!!!! He was purring so loudly I didn't need my snoozed alarm to go off again. He was so sweet and I got dressed and he just sat by me until I left for work... had to eat a bagel, drink a cup of coffee and watch a little of this movie I recorded last night... then, I finally left my house at 5:45am... a little bit late but it was worth all the extra love I got from my cat!! He is so funny.
Another side note... I was in origins and have been big on preventing wrinkles in my face... I started noticing more grey hair and I get paranoid that I would next see wrinkles on my ugly mug (I love that saying, but no I don't really have a bad complex)....
so, this little lady convinced me at origins to buy the most expensive moisturizer... then, she was apauled that I didn't use a day mosturizer... I was like, lady, I buy my make up at walmart, do you think I'm that concerned about mosturizing in the day?
So, I broke down and bought that.... THEN.....
I needed an exfoliator....
Ok, broke down and bought that...
after all was said and done I had spent 100 dollars on some products that would last about 3 months (6 months by the way I conserve) which comes to a little less than 20 dollars a month to prevent wrinkles.
Ok. So, I started using it and I thought I would notice a shiny (pregnancy like glow) on my newly mosturized, vitamin C, paprika seed oiled, etc, etc...face.
Then, in like 3 days I compeltely broke out, which meant I had to attack my face with my finger nails... now, I'm stuck with like 4 scabs on my face that looks very oily/greasy all the time...
All this for 100 bucks.
Was it worth it??
That's all for now
