Blake and I at the zoo!

Here are some pics from Blake and I's day at the zoo! It was fun but a little rainy, then I lost Sarah's card in the climbing gym and an old man yelled at me because I was too big to climb in the gym and I wasn't suppose to wear shoes. I was like, sir, you should yell at me if I let this little girl climb in the gym alone... then, he told me she was too young to be climbing anyways. I said, that's why I was climbing with her :)
He didn't see my logic.
Anyways... we had fun!
My weekend was good... I was canceled on Saturday and I went shopping at the town center in the rain! I was super fun and I bough myself a new ring from James Avery. It's the 4 season's ring and it reminds me of that nicole nordeman song about seasons of your life...
I can't remember the title but I'm very happy with my ring purchase.
So, thursday I am leaving for Michigan with Rob! We are going to visit his family and watch his brother play in a football game. It's going to be cold! Can't wait to get out of the heat for a little while.
Bri is having a slumber party Friday night with a friend of her's that is moving to California (bye, Winnie!) and then Saturday night she is going to stay with her Dad because he is coming into town for the weekend. She should have a good weekend!

I was cleaning my house the other day and I thought how nice it would be to have a play room for Bri when she's older for her friends to hang out in... kind of like a movie/game room.
Maybe a two story home would be nice. That would give her her own little space... but right now I can't sell my house because they are still building in my neighborhood but hopefully in two years or so I will be able to.
Dreams....

Also, I paid off Bri's braces on Friday!!
Next is the best buy credit card... I only have a little bit left. That will feel good. I will get it done before Christmas so I can use the extra money I have for Christmas presents :)
Fun, fun!
I've been training for my Tri and the training is going well except last week I completely wore myself out. I had to take Saturday and Sunday completely off. But, I'm feeling rejuvenated and ready to go again.
I'm made a schedule of what I need to do each day because I only have 3 weeks to train. However, I tried to keep it under control because I don't want to get sick or hurt and then not be able to compete at all.
October 4th is the big day!
Wish me luck
(good luck, Jodi; thanks!)

That's all for now

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Morning Sickness: Still no morning sickness but I'm still taking 2 diclegis every night. Sleep:  Didn't nap as much last week. Just didn...

Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate. He tested on Monday morning and received word Tuesday around 5:30pm that he was pos...

Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine. He tried to do it with a tool and ended up having to do it manually with his hands.  Then, I ...
