My first blog...

This is my first blog.(that's such a funny word)
Anyways, I thought I would give this a try.
I don't know how exciting my life is but it could be interesting for someone to read.
So, yesterday I worked at Parkland (12 hours). I had a good day. I am precepting a student and she is so sweet but she slows me down so much that I get a little frustrated. But, we all have to start somewhere right?
I have one more week of basketball and then my season and Bri's cheerleading season is OVER. YAY! It's been fun but very time consuming. Monday-practice, Thursday-Bri's practice, Saturday morning-Bri's cheerleading, then my game. I'm worn out!
Once cheerleading is over Bri is going to start taking Karate. She's not very excited but I think it's one of the best things for girls to be in to learn discipline and self defense. It's the perfect sport at that age...
We'll see how she does. She's not the most coordinated person but once she gets the hang of it, I think she'll enjoy it!
Bri's bday party is in a week(at a gymnastic's place) She's excited. I bought this cake layout to put on top of the cake I make (scary). It's a cute layout though. It's made out of sugar and you just lay it on top. It has a big picture of Hannah Montana and it says "Happy 6th Birthday Brianna". Have to thank Ebay for that one!

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update

27 weeks today. Is this the third trimester or not?!? Some websites say it is, some says 28 is. So, I'm not too sure. Weight Gain:  33.3 lbs total. Only half a pound of away from what I gained with Jamyson and I still have 13 weeks left (waaaahhhh.....) I feel huge. I am huge! It's harder to walk and my feet hurt now, lol. Exercise:  I'm still walking but I cut back last week and only did 14.7 miles. I broke the 200 miles for the year for the "run the year 2017"! However, the more I walk, the more I eat and the more weight I gain (eek)! Cravings/Diet:  I've been craving lemon lime gatorade. Weird right?! It's delicious. I've also been getting reece's blasts from Sonic. They are so good! I threw in a cooke dough blizzard from dairy queen. That was delicious and not helping with my weight gain. Our Experience with Covid 19

I'm writing to share our experience with Covid-19. With the reopening of the lockdown, many new cases are flooding the world. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager at Century 21 Judge Fite in Rockwall. He has been in real estate for the past seven years. He is an amazing realtor and even better manager. I am very proud of him and I stand behind him no matter what. Saturday July 5th is started feeling ill after a work out. He had recently joined Legends Fit in Rockwall and started a program where he had to lose 25lbs or 6.9% body fat in 6 weeks and he would get a free membership for the year. After 3 weeks and a very strict diet and workout, he had lost close to 20 lbs and 5.3% body fat. He started running a fever Saturday afternoon and felt very fatigued. No real respiratory symptoms and his pulse ox never dropped below 98 percent. His heart rate was double his resting heart rate. Ashton's Birth Story-VBAC

I started this last pregnancy journey with the goal of finishing my second VBAC. Here's the story (So that I never forget any of my children's birth, I have documented each one's stories)... Around 4pm on Thursday August 1, 2019, I went into the hospital. I was having irregular contractions, dilated to 2 cm and 50% effaced. I was 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant.  Here is a photo: I am almost 6 feet tall and had gained nearly 50 lbs. Most of which I gained in the first and second trimester. I continued to workout this whole pregnancy in hopes that my body would bounce back quicker. Time will tell. So, my doctor came in around 5:30pm and said he was going to do the foley cervical dilation balloon again since that worked with Elizabeth. So, they inserted the foley balloon which is extremely painful because I have a tilted cervix which apparently hides behind my spine.
